TIP: Custom Album Covers For Better Quality and Framing
TIP: Custom Album Covers For Better Quality and Framing

Why does my album cover look pixelated or incorrectly framed?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When you upload images to Vsble, album covers are automatically generated based on the first image in the album. However, sometimes the cover may appear pixelated if it is enlarged beyond its original resolution, or the framing might not be exactly as you want it.

How can I fix a blurry or pixelated album cover?

If your album cover looks pixelated, this usually means that the image is being stretched beyond its original size. To fix this, follow these steps:

  1. Upload a higher-resolution version of the image you want as your cover.

  2. Adjust the crop before uploading to ensure it fits well within the cover dimensions.

  3. Set the new image as the album cover (you can do this in your album settings).

  4. Hide the cover image from the album itself if you don’t want it to appear among your regular images.

Can I choose a different framing for my album cover?

Yes! If you want a slightly different framing for your cover without affecting the rest of your images, you can:

  • Upload a version with the exact crop you prefer.

  • Set it as the album cover.

  • Hide it from the album so it only appears as the cover.

This way, your album cover will be displayed exactly how you want it—sharper, properly framed, and visually appealing—without affecting your other album images.

Will hiding the cover image affect my album?

No, hiding the cover image only prevents it from appearing inside the album. It will still function as your album cover, ensuring your layout remains clean and professional.
