Understanding and Using Focus Points in Your Vsble Templates

What are Focus Points?

Focus points allow you to reposition the focal point of an image within its placeholder. This feature is particularly useful in templates with fixed image placeholder ratios, such as the Riga template. By adjusting the focus point, you can ensure that the most

important part of your image is prominently displayed.

Why Use Focus Points?

  1. Fixed Image Placeholders: In templates with fixed image ratios, certain parts of your image might be cropped out. Focus points help you adjust the position of your image within the placeholder, ensuring the main subject is always visible.

  2. Slideshows: Focus points are also beneficial for setting the focal point in slideshow images. This ensures that the key part of each image is highlighted as the slideshow transitions from one image to another.

How to Use Focus Points:

  1. Accessing Focus Points:

    • Navigate to the image you want to adjust.

    • Look for the option to set focus points in the image editing settings.

  2. Setting Focus Points:

    • Click on the image to set the focus point. A marker will appear indicating the new focus area.

    • Drag the marker to the desired focal point of the image.

  3. Preview and Save:

    • Preview the changes to ensure the image is displayed correctly within its placeholder.

    • Save the settings to apply the focus point adjustment.

By effectively using focus points, you can enhance the visual impact of your images across your Vsble website, ensuring that the key elements of your photos are always in the spotlight.
