Manual Domain Connection
Updated over a week ago

For domain providers who do not support one-cilck connection method

If you are trying to connect your domain to your website, you might found out that your provider does not support the one-click connect method. In this case, you will need to manually update your DNS records in order to successfully connect your domain.

Watch the video below for manual connection method:

During the setup process, you will be presented with the DNS records that you need to update for your domain. These records will need to be copied and pasted into your domain provider's dashboard. Once this is done, you can confirm the connection and complete the process.

It is important to note that your domain should only have two A.records pointing to our IP. One for the root domain (usually represented by @, * or simply an empty space) and another for the "www" subdomain. If you have any existing CNAME or "AAAA" records for the root and "www" subdomain, it is recommended to remove them to avoid conflicts during the connection process.

DNS A-records act as address pointers, so it is crucial to ensure that they are pointing to the correct IP address for your website. If they are not, the connection will not work properly.
